What's up, Reader? It's ya boy, Eli (or should I say Easy?) Iām not going to lieāI didnāt have much time to write this week. Itās 1:00 this morning, and Iām just going off the dome. Hereās what I did last week:
No wonder I had no time to write. Why Iām Shifting from Writing to StreamingI was originally going to use writing and education to build the audience, but now Iām going to use entertainment and education. Iāve decided to embrace my natural talent for livestreaming to build an audience online by playing a character named Easy. Essentially, Iām applying Kanye West marketing tactics to build an audience. And I wrote a business plan around it ( Read the plan here). The truth is, Easy is me, and Iām Easy. This newsletter is a mix of my professional life and the chaos that is my mindābecause thatās the real deal. The Future Belongs to CreatorsIām going to give it to you straightāI believe the future belongs to creators. In a few years, technology will be at a point where anyone can be a creator. Knowing how to create content online is an evergreen meta-skill, no matter your profession. Technology has already revolutionized the world before AI came on the scene. The average human today consumes electric energy equivalent to having 20 full-time human servants working 200 years ago. Now, through AI, technology is literally working on itself. Exponential growth has now become exponentially exponential growth. In the next 10 years, we will see one-person businesses popping up left and right. This is because of the power of automation and no-code tools. Most tedious aspects of content creation will be smoothed over through automated solutions. In the near future, some individuals will have harnessed technology so effectively that theyāll essentially become one-person marketing agencies (some already have). Automation is the key to the solo creator business. Imagine having 20 full-time artists and editors working for you. Thatās what it will be like for those who know how to leverage AI. There are already tools out there that speed up workflow significantly. For example, I used Adobe Senseiās auto-transcription tool in Premiere Pro to cut shorts from streams in 20 minutes. If I wanted to, I could pay for a service like Framedrop that automatically cuts highlights from streams and podcasts to shorten that time even further. These things that used to take hours now take minutes. And itās only going to get crazier from here. This is childās play compared to what we will see in our lifetime. Iām so confident this will be the case that I left my job before even starting to create content or grow an audience myself. I built a digital business with zero employees. I create content for others for a living. Now Iām applying what Iāve learned to my own brand. Whatās Next for Weston PixelWriting is cool, but streaming comes more naturally. My plan is to use livestreaming to blend entertainment with education, making complex ideas accessible and fun (Follow my Twitch channel). Iām going to put effort into creating a community through the streams and video content. This community will be made up of entrepreneurs (closet & actual), creators, and business owners. The goal is to turn this community into a creator-brand liaison service, where creative talents and businesses can connect, collaborate, and grow together. The Weston Pixel Universe will start to become an ecosystem where content creation, creative collaboration, and brand partnerships converge. The stream is going to be an exploration of these ideas and a behind-the-scenes look at my workflow and tech stack. Iāll be creating content about content creation and the creator economy. Sounds boring, but trust meāI know how to party. Letās face it ā everyone who creates content around the things Iām going to be talking about are boring. Itās time to shake the game up. Iāll be going live a few times this week. Iāll let you know when the portal to cyberspace opens. This newsletter will continue to evolve to accommodate for whatever strategy works out best. I will still write to you guys every Monday, but sometimes the broadcasts will just be updates and highlights from the week. Iām figuring all this stuff out as I go if you canāt tell. Thatās part of the plan (Check out the part about building your niche through content in The Creatorās Blueprint.) If you want to see how I plan to monetize acting a fool on the Internet, check out the business plan (Link to the plan). Youāll also like the omega article I wrote that has everything I know about how to become a successful creator online (Read The Creatorās Blueprint). Iām going to constantly revisit this as I go along, keeping it relevant. Itāll be an ebook or a course one day, but right now, itās on my website foā free. If thereās one thing I learned while silencedāitās how to be heard. If this doesnāt work, Iāll try it from another angle. Iāll build vans and create content around that. Iāll hone more in on photography. The principle of growing an audience online is the same. Learn how to create and distribute content, and you open up possibilities of personal and financial freedom the human race has never seen before (literally). You can monetize whatever you want on the Internet. Hold my beer, Zuckerberg. š Take care mi amigos, E P.S. There are only 20 of you right now, so consider yourselves the OGs of this wild ride. You can reply to these emails. Iād love to hear your thoughts, ideas, or concerns (lol). Help me build this thing from the ground upāIāll never forget the ones who were here from the start.
